Embracing Well-being Parent Support Group
Embark on a transformative journey with our Embracing Wellbeing Parent Support Group, starting Thursday, February 8th and continuing throughout the year except for during school holidays. This drop-in support group is suited for parents seeking not just survival, but who want to thrive in diverse circumstances. Together, we'll explore ways to care for different aspects of your health—mental, physical, social, emotional, and spiritual.
The program features engaging workshops, discussions, and practical meditation/relaxation exercises. It's a dedicated opportunity for you to step out of your caregiving roles, connect with others, and prioritize your own wellbeing. Recognize that a calm, loving, and empathetic parent is an invaluable gift to your children.
This inclusive program is suitable for:
- Any parent interested in enhancing overall wellbeing
- Parents of neurodivergent children (e.g., autism, ADHD, dyslexia) regardless of NDIS status
- Parents of children with physical disabilities
- Parents of someone with additional needs (e.g., anxiety)
- Any parent finding parenting difficult for various reasons (e.g., parental depression, anxiety, difficult child behaviours)
Designed for parents who:

- Want to explore practical life skills for challenging times
- Aim to model self-care to promote their children’s wellbeing and resilience
