X-rays help dental professionals to help detect mouth abnormalities invisible to the human eye, such as hidden cavities, bone loss, wisdom teeth etc. An OPG (Orthopantomagram) machine is able to scan the upper and lower jaw in one image. We have an OPG machine available for clients at both of our clinics.

In most cases we can. First, you will need to arrange an appointment for a consultation and OPG. Once the dental professional examines your x-rays, they will discuss with you if the procedure, which involves removing one or more of the four adult wisdom teeth under a local anaesthetic, can be done in clinic, or if you need to be referred to an Oral Surgeon.

Yes we are able to arrange referrals to specialists such as Orthodontists and Oral Surgeons if required.
